Practice Days, Times, & Locations

INDOOR Practice Locations:

Sterling Middle School: 201 W. Holly, Ave., Sterling, VA (Tuesdays and Thursdays - 6:15pm to 8:15pm) (practice start time and end time subject to change)

Phenom Strength and Conditioning: 21690 Red Rum Drive, Ashburn, VA - (Saturdays - 8:30am to 10:30am)

Note: No practice on Saturdays when there is a track meet scheduled on a Saturday or a Sunday. (**Practice days, locations, and times are subject to change.)

 

INDOOR Track and Field Events: Sprints: 55M/60M, 200M, 400M - Mid-Distance: 800M, 1600M - Long Distance: 3200M- Hurdles:  55M/60M,  Field Events: Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put - Relays: 4 x200M, 4x400M

 

About Us 

Legacy Track and Field club organized in Loudoun County, VA for the purpose of teaching and promoting the sport of track and field to athletes ages 6-17 years old. 

Our objectives are: train and develop athletes in the sport of track and field; empower athletes to harness their athletic abilities; prepare athletes to excel on and off the field; promote overall healthy eating and exercising habits; and to train and develop future leaders of America. 

We're committed to creating a Legacy that we can all be proud of.

2018 AAU INDOOR NATIONALS RECAP

Our 2018 Indoor Season was a HUGE success! The Indoor Season ended on March 11th at the AAU National Track and Field Championships. We competed against teams from all over the USA and Canada! The top 8 performers recevied medals. The team ended up with 19 individual medals and a Bronze Medal winning 4x200M Relay Team.  **It is important to note that we had several 1st time track athletes to medal at this National Competition. This is a testament to their dedication and hard work and also to excellent coaching and hard work by our coaching staff. We qualified 33 athletes for this national meet and most had personal bests in 1 or more of their events.

Below are Our 2018 AAU INDOOR NATIONAL TOP 8 FINALISTS:

GIRLS:

ELISE PRIDGEON (5-6 yr old): Triple Medalist- 60M-8th, 200M-6th, 400M-6th

JOHANNA STUARD (12 yr old):  Triple Medalist -800M-8th, 1500M-4th, Long Jump-6th

TAYLOR MORRELL (9 yr old)Double Medalist (400M -Silver, 800M- Bronze) 

**TIENNA MARTIN (13 yr old)800M-8th 

**IMANI WOOD (10 yr old):   400M-8th  

**MYA TOWNES (12 yr old) 400M-8th

NIA ROBERSON (14 yr old)- Long Jump-4th

AMAYA JOHNSON (17 Yr old) - (400M- Bronze)

College Scholarship Recognition


2018: Amaya Johnson earned a track and field scholarship to The College of William and Mary and will compete in the 2019-2020 Track Season for "The TRIBE"! Amaya is currently a track standout Senior at Potomac Falls High School in Sterling VA.

2017: Darby Watts signs National Letter of Intent (NLI) to run track at Lynn University. Darby graduated from Riverside High School . Darby is currently a Sophomore at Lynn University.  http://www.lynnfightingknights.com/sports/wxc/2016-17/releases/20161115mg3hfp

2016: Josh Thomas earned a scholarship and a place on the football team at Fairmont State University and played for 2 years. Josh is currently attending Virginia State University and is training to become a member of the Track team. Success off the Track

  1. Jared receives the 2016 Varsity Football Team Leadership Award.  Jared is currently a freshman at Riverside High School. Well done Jared!
  2. Ethan and his football team won the D-2 State Championship held in Hampton Roads. Ethan scored three touchdowns and rushed over 180 yards. Ethan is currently a 4th grader. Great job Ethan!. 
  3. Brady, Julian, Mac and their flag football team won the Washington Redskins NFL Regional Flag Football Championship. Next stop, the Pro Bowl in Orlando, FL in January.  Congratulations boys!! Julian, Mac and Brady are all 5th graders
  4. Nicole, Nia and their soccer team won the 13U Soccer Championship. Nicole and Nia are 7th graders.  Great job girls!
